Musician turned territorial defender

Individuals from various walks of life have converged in the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces bound by a common goal to defend Ukraine, and they depend on our support. My life once revolved around singing at weddings and concerts. However, the profound magnitude of the Russian invasion prompted a shift in my life’s path. I realized that the time had come to set aside my musical instruments and take up arms in defense of Ukraine. This decision was firm in my mind, and I distinctly recall heading to the military enlistment office last year, just a day after celebrating my birthday," Vlad recounts.

Presently, he serves as an aerial reconnaissance drone operator within the Volodymyr Battalion of the Volyn Brigade, part of the Territorial Defense Forces. "Collaborating closely with my fellow soldiers, we meticulously track enemy movements and fine-tune our artillery strategies. I embarked on a journey to master the role of an aerial scout from the ground up:
